And So I Watch You From Afar, from Northern Ireland, play instrumental rock that sounds a bit progressive, a bit post rock, a tiny bit metal, and a tiny bit pop too, and happy and crazy, though there are some passages with serious vibes too.
And So I Watch You From Afar have been together since 2005, during the last couple of years the band has had an intense time with new experiences and changes, they went on their first tour to the States, then lost one one of their members to his solo project, soon after they released their latest album Gangs and did a ten weeks tour around Europe, then they did another little tour around Europe this year, and then they went back again to tour the States, where they also played at SXSW. And now they are arriving to China for a quick tour of five cities in seven days.
Their tour in China is part of a series of concerts organized by Split Works as part of UK Now, the cultural festival organized by the British Council in China for 2012.
This is “Beautifuluniversemasterchampion” the opening song of their album from 2011, Gangs.
