Pairs "Mean Buzz"

Shanghai’s punk duo released yesterday a video for the song “Mean Buzz” from their double album If This Cockroach Doesn’t Die, I Will out on Metal Postcard Records on November of 2012.

“Mean Buzz” shows clean shots of a dirty game, and it goes quickly, as most of Pairs’ songs do, so you might end up watching it more than once (most of all for the pleasure…  dirty envy? … of seeing the two punks bombed without rest).

The video was produced by Live Circus in association with TTV Shanghai, and it was directed and edited by Alessio Avezzano.

Xiao Zhong says about it “Basically, they took us out to an old warehouse in Jiading that was full of old carpet, plates, an old love bed from a brother, some other stained mattresses and threw coloured flour, fake blood, dirt and water at us. Was surprisingly fun, but I think the people throwing the crud had the most fun.”
