Happy 64 China!

China is celebrating its National Holiday, the 64th. To join the celebration with style we bring you here a collection with some classics.

A selection that travels around the country and its music history, from Teresa Teng to Tengger Cavalry, Joyside, PK14, Subs, and more are part of this selection of artists that are essential when talking about China’s indie, rock and pop.

The last track is a low quality recording of the twenty nine minutes  performance of Cui Jian at Tiananmen on 1989, a very special moment for rock in China.  And to begin, for the silly fun of it, a proper intro, “The March Of The Volunteers” our national anthem.

Now here we go.
