Palmbomen "Black Safari"

Kai Hugo, or Palmbomen (palm trees, in Dutch), is working on his new EP, the second one, and he is already making noise with the two singles released as preview, “Stock”, and “Black Safari”. Both singles show the signature sound created by Palmbomen, a noisy canvas with static.

“Black Safari” has a sunny tone, with cosmic shadows, and a little of the 80’s, something like “La Isla Bonita” but produced by The Cars and with much less karma. This description is risky, I know, so better just go and press play, and tell me if I’m wrong, and if you don’t like the resulting odd blend of sounds.
