Franz Ferdinand To Play in Hong Kong's Clockenflap Fest

Clockenflap, Hong Kong’s music and arts festival just announced that Franz Ferdinand, Two Door Cinema Club, Chic (featuring Nile Rodgers), Four Tet, G.E.M and tfvsjs will perform at its 2013 event — which will be its first three-day affair, from Friday, November 29 to Sunday, December 1.

Tickets for Clockenflap 2013 will be on sale from September 2 on www.ticketflap.com. Early-bird ticketing prices are: HK$480 (Friday only); HK$580 (Saturday or Sunday only); HK$980 (three-day entry). Student discounts are also available, and kids aged 12 or under will have free entry. More acts, both international and locally, will be announced in the near future.

Since its debut in 2008 at CyberPort, then its move to its current home, the West Kowloon Cultural District, in 2011, Clockenflap offers both an iconic outdoor city venue as well as a mix of the best of Hong Kong’s musicians and artists along side some world popular artists. Last year’s Clockenflap included: De La Soul, Primal Scream, Klaxons, Azealia Banks; as well as local acts Jun Kung, Ryan Hui, Chochukmo, The Yours. On the film front, Clockenflap has showcased an array of outstanding visual cuts, including BAFTA Short Film winners and Upside Down Creation Records.
