ONRA’s 1.0.8

July 22nd, 2009 by saucy

This Saturday Free the Wax will have one of their very well directed events, this time bringing ONRA to The Shelter. In preparation we’ve got a review of the beatmaker’s newest album 1.0.8. You can listen to the album while you read it.

Editor’s Picks, June 18-21

I won’t recommend this event (see photo), as it constitutes French House music, which combines two of the more questionable elements of society that I am aware of, but I will direct your attention (Disgust? Dorian Concept: When Music Moves Forward

February 18th, 2009 by mache

Today Dorian Concept guided a master class to show the technique he uses to create his music. The meeting was interesting and he certainly created expectations for the gig organized by Free the Wax tonight at The Shelter. One thing that I admire about electronic musicians is the freedom they feel from the technique of instrumental music

How To Do All This And Survive?

December 12th, 2008 by mache

Have you ever had so many events to check out in one weekend that you lose your power of omnipresence? Well, this looks to be one of those weekends. The only problem is that recently the Computer Gods got a bit dizzy (or it could have been also a solar storm. Who knows what it [...]
