The plan
Etienne summarizes MESH, and Squinzi shows the images of that weekend.
This coming weekend will be the birth and raise of MESH in Shanghai, the materialization of the gathering around music of Siesta and friends. Etienne debuts on Layabozi interviewing Siesta about her own MESH story.
Last week was so intense we had a severe hang over the rest of the week. Please excuse us, the overdose of music and fun took many hours of sleep and liters of green tea to recover. Cry no more! Enjoy these great images of last weekend in Shanghai.
It’s a little thin this week, perhaps due to World Cuppage. However, let that not deter you from seeing awesome performers like the Subs and The Swedish Radio Symphony.
Well that was a nice little rest, wasn’t it? I did almost nothing for the past few days except eat, sleep, and look at fireworks. I also did some drinking. Anyway, vacation is over now and the party must continue! It will be a gradual acceleration for the next week or so though, as YYT remains closed and other happenings are mostly subdued.
Modern, live music to inhale this weekend, for people who like inhaling modern, live music. And traditional Guinean rhythms.
Mache waxes poetic on the eventful past couple of weeks in the Shanghai music scene.
