Well, it’s a bit of a quiet weekend in terms of indie action aside from the return of Hassan from his exile in the hinterlands, but in classical music there’s the MISA festival.
One cool thing about the Expo so far is that different countries have been taking turns taking over the city, one week at a time. This week it’s Finland, but that’s not to say there isn’t local flavor going on at the same time.
The Maybe Mars Showcase is the big one this week, so go to that. There’s also French dance rock, and the powerful people of our own scene DJing and experimenting.
