2009 Brit Award nominations are out…

The Brits are the largest music awards in the UK. This year’s nominees have just been announced, with Coldplay and Duffy receiving the most, including for Best British Album. They are joined in that category by Elbow, Radiohead and The Ting Tings. If you’re not familiar with Brit-rock group Elbow, I thoroughly recommend checking out their latest album The Seldom Seen Kid, and lead singer Guy Garvey’s weekly radio show on BBC 6Music (most BBC material is available online for up to a week is after it is broadcast; check out Guy’s show here).

AC/DC is Back, long life to Rock ‘n’ Roll!

I am head-banging of happiness. Rock is back in my life …finally! Not that ever left, but I was missing a bit of rough stubborn loud guitars and rough yelling voices in my every day life and now to double the joy, I just got the last new released album of AC/DC. Yeah!
Black Ice is actually a very red and hot come back of one of the greatest bands of Rock ‘n’ Roll; this album sounds as a confirmation, for Rock is the DNA of these five guys and they are full committed with their sound and their style, which by the way, is the most solid and coolest ever; it is pure dirty Rock ‘n’ Roll.
